I had a baby who died at 5 months old... and he looked EXACTLY like your new pup! You gotta see this! I swear I thought I was seeing my old pup again! Weird! I wish I lived closer and had more $$, but with 2 of my own now I just couldn't swing it to get a 3rd.. plus 2 is enough for me! I only have 2 hands! and 2 heads are hard to love at the same time... nevermind 3! hehe
Anyways... I also wanted to tell you... my 2 boys are brothers from the same liter. I got them from a breeder I found to be pretty reputable. Her dogs were on the premesis and I got to see the parents, the dogs were free to roam the house (all like 10 yorkies greeted me at the door) she bred JUST yorkies, and the pups were kept in a childs playpen in a room with a wood stove where they were safe, warm and loved. Her & her hubby sat in recliners in the room and held the pups often so they were socialized as well. The ONLY thing I didnt like was she CHAIN smoked in the house with all those dogs! I felt like it was not right to do that to such a bunch of tiny lungs... but anyways... the point of my story...
Dexter Weight - 2.2lbs @ 9 weeks
2.8lbs @ 15 weeks
3.6lbs @ 1 year 3 months
5.0lbs @ 1 year 6 months
(he had a late growth spurt, actually both my boys did! Both my boys are from the same liter)
Fletcher Weight - 1.8lbs @ 9 weeks
3.5lbs @ 15 weeks
6.3lbs @ 1 year 3 months
8.5lbs @ 1 year 6 months
So you never know when their spurt will hit or not and you never know truely what size they will be. Fletcher was the 2nd smallest in the liter.. and Dexter was the largest at birth. (out of 4)
Here is a pic of my pup that sadly died. He was almost 5 months old when he left us. He was soooooooo ADORABLE!!! He looked just like your little guy!!!
