She must have no self confidence if she has to make others feel bad. Just like bullies in school, they often pick on other because they feel so low about themselves and bashing other makes them feel "powerful". Everyone has a right to their opinion and it wouldn't matter who was constantly bashing others I would think it was disrespectful and rude.
