I looked at both Wilson and Armstrong stuff. Maybe I should have bought THAT!
Instead, I bought Shaw flooring (
supposedly reputable, long-time manufacturer) in a shade exclusive to Home Depot because the color was the closest to what I was going for.
I think this stuff truly was manufactured in hell.
It looks nice enough, but it was a horrible installation thanks to the manufacturer CHANGING locking mechanisms shortly before I bought it -- and nobody told me. Then, I had issues with several boards per box being DAMAGED. And, it's been a bear to keep clean.
My recommendation: If you're going for the wood look, just get WOOD!
