Your puppy is adorable! I must admit, I'm a little disappointed to hear that you are going to find a new home for your puppy simply because he is going to be larger than what you had hoped for.
Based on my research, smaller dogs have a tendancy to have more health and behavioral problems - not ALL, but many.
When we bought our Maltese (from a puppy mill out of ignorance), his parents looked small; however, our dog grew to 11 pounds - WAY over the norm for a Maltese. But we loved every pound of him and gave him a great home until we lost him a couple of weeks ago.
But if you don't feel that you can love him and treat him as you should because he's not what you wanted, by all means, allow someone else to give him a good life and love him regardless of his weight. |
