I believe when Rosie speaks about a public person she sees it as a constructive criticism or observation of their out of control behavior, as in being drunk &/or high in public or publicly embarrassing themselves in other ways not as just away to sling mud.....it's pretty much the same way some of us speak about celebrities in the threads about Paris,Britney, Lindsay, Anna Nicole, etc. ...if what some of us spoke hit the news shows and papers like Rosie's remarks do we would be accused of being hateful and mean like her..it's just ours is more private, so to speak...we ALL say negative things about people from time to time, it may not be right but it does happen ....
