Definately the Mazda - I agree that Kia's do not hold their value. I'm single with just my boys to tote around. I recently got a 2006 Scion XA. It's a 4 door with a hatchback. People call it my rollerskate, but you can't beat the gas mileage and I drive a long way to work. I would've loved to get a Mazda but it was a little out of my price range.
