As a teacher, I try to remember, each and every second of the day, to try and make a
POSITIVE difference in my students lives! As many of you know, with students of today, sometimes this is so difficult! They come from such varied and often dysfunctional homes...a lot of them have so many problems...it is difficult to teach subject matter when they are hungry, sad, worried, embarrassed, etc. I try to be encouraging and uplifting and at the same time disciplined! It is a very fine line, indeed!
