I never breed a yorkie that is under 5 lbs period. Its risky just breeding a larger girl. Its sometines cheaper to buy another yorkie than to breed one. So many things can go wrong with a 4 lb yorkie and they usually dont have the reserves to handle it like a larger yorkie can. Also ask yourself this: Do I love my girl more than anything she could produce? Can I handle it if she should die because I made the decision to breed her? These are two of the questions I ask when I am inquired about stud service. Lynn |
