.As for the need to have electric clippers or a special razor to trim the hair off, I don't think it's a must. I mean you can always use a pair of scissors (this is what I do) and trim the hair of. Like somebody say clip off only one third of the ear starting from the top, then, trim of the hair around the edges. Trim on both sides.
