I am from the northwest of england (Merseyside) and was wondering if anyone knows of any standard sized yorkie (the larger ones) breeders near me?
I currently have a labradoodle Buddy, but he is having to be re-homed by a lovely couple down south as he is too strong for my mum who has very bad shoulder problems, and its not fair on him to expect to wait for me to come in from school before he goes for a walk
Before Buddy we had a standard yorkie called Buster- He was lovely, but he died unfortunatley of an enlarged heart and eventually had kidney failure as a result.
Becuase of this, we are interested in researching breeders in advanced, so we can get things sorted etc and research more about yorkies in general so we are up to scratch.
Firstly- we wanted to know which people prefer Bitches or Dogs? We usually have Dogs, but we have heard Bitches can be more loyal than Dogs..
Also- would you suggest a pair or a single dog/bitch? and if we do pick a pair- is it wise to get 2 bitches, 2 dogs, or a dog and a bitch? (Of course we will get them spayed neutered)
