The main reason I wanted to know is because I know someone who spent $6000 for one of hers (I think she's a teacup and so adorable) and over $3000 for the other (and this dog is the ugliest Yorkie I've seen! She has a pointy nose and she is pretty much all dark tan). I paid $1500 for my Scout (without doing much prior research) and from what I have read he fits the standard and I have info on his parents, grandparents and great grandparents to prove his champion bloodline.
I really find it sad that people breed Yorkies to make $6000 a piece and completely rip someone off with pretty much what I would consider a fake!
