Did she have the blood last time too? Are her gums pale?
You never know how quickly they can go down when it comes to bloody stools, but you could try giving some canned pumpkin (to help her firm up) and some boiled chicken and rice for meals until she's better. You also might add some pedialyte or karo syrup to her water to get her to drink more.
I'm just wondering if she ate something bad a few days ago, pooped it, the bad thing still smelled good though, and then she ate it again. Has she ever eaten a bird or bird poo or anything dead? My concern then would be giardia or something (which does often resolve if they're not puppies).
You could always bring stool sample to the vet, which is usually cheaper than an office call. So, it's "bright" blood vs. "black" blood, correct?
