this sounds like a reaction to something - are you washing your stuff in dye and fragrance free. Could be she is allergic to down feathers as my dd is - if she had allergies it would be all the time so this sounds like an isolated thing in the bed
It could be a flea bite as flea protection only kills the cycle but the flea can still bite the dog and a flea reaction can last up to 3 weeks.
