When our little girl was about that age, if we took her out for walk and played fetch with her or added any other activity on top of taking her for a walk, she'd be totally beat the next day, just lay around and sleep all day. It worried us the first few times, but eventually we figured out that this was the way she reacted to too much activity. The little ones are more prone to this since they tend to be like little kids. They get carried away and then conk out and sleep non-stop.

She's 10 mos. now and she recuperates a lot faster. She has more energy and recoups a lot faster. She can go for a walk and then play catch-the-frisbee in the back yard for an hour later on without totally crashing the next day.
