That's where the AKC is kind of a problem, that you aren't required to register all puppies as we are here and transfer ownership. Here in Canada, a breeder can join the Canadian Kennel Club and be a member. It only takes sending in annual dues and you can be a member until you are caught seriously breeching their rules. As a member, litter registration fees, puppy reg. etc are half the price of a non member. Also we are required to individual register each pup in a litter and transfer ownership to the new owner. that is regardless of whether you sell a puppy or an older dog whatever.
Failure to do so will bring a fine and suspension from the Candian Kennel Club until it is provided.
Which actually is all great on paper but many puppy buyers don't know.
I don't have my contract on my computer as it crashed about 3 months ago. I have my paper copies of course but haven't typed it back into my files.
I won't have time likely until the weekend, I have a busy week ahead of me.
That's a great idea to make the guarantee part of them getting it spayed/neutered.
