It is the PDSA that I do not qualify for. As I cannot receive any benefits in this country due to being an American. My friend however receives benefits and is willing to take her to the vet... Still trying to ply my husband into letting me keep her first though. If nothing else we can get it done at the end of the month after we get paid provided he lets me keep her. Her barking for an hour and a half lastnight to be with us and not on her own in the kitchen only served to make him that much more stubborn. I pointed out that as soon as we placed her beside the bed she settled right down and not a sound until I got out of bed this morning but I will keep talking to him about it. One of my main points is she is old already not like she is going to be around another 13 or so years but in fact only a few especially if these lumps turn out to be cancer. Vet won't test them yet as she is still classified a stray NM what I wanted.... They even argued with me about testing her stool for worms. Ah well things will work out in the end I am sure. Until then I will deal with her breath of a thousand septic tanks and give her lots of cuddles. |
