Sounds like a second opinion might be in order...I've never heard of a dog being neutered twice so you might just want to consult someone else. I was told to neuter Archie between 6 and 9 months. He's 8 months old and due to go in for his test on Saturday and his neutering on Wednesday. But as for the testicle dropping bit--people have their dogs neutered at a really really young age, and the testicle presumably wouldn't have dropped at that time. If they can't find it, maybe he doesn't have it and then you wouldn't have to worry anyway. As for the weight, I really stopped trusting people who told me what weight Archie would be...he's like Chewbacca now. He's huge, and his sister is only 3lbs. Plus, vets can't predict weight without knowing the family. It's like your doctor telling you that you'll be 6' and 200 lbs. next year and your entire family for generations was under 5'6" and 150 lbs. How can someone say that unless they knew your family?!
