Lacy is 7lbs. I saw a show yorkie at the Houston AKC show that looked to be the same size as her. He was 9 months and 6.5lbs. Most of the other yorkies I saw in the show looked smaller and to be around 5lbs and even saw one that looked pretty tiny compared to all the others and she was 4lbs. My parents have a yorkie who is probably about 5.5lbs (he may be 6lbs because he's a little chunky). My boss has two yorkies - one is 3lbs and one is 3.8lbs. So yorkies really do come in all sizes. I even saw one once that was 22lbs! AKC standard is up to 7lbs but being bigger than that doesn't make them less than a yorkie - just too big to be shown and bred.
