I normally ship via USPS Priority Mail...the insurance is $1.35 for up to $50 (I think) and then another $1.50 or so for confirmation/tracking (I think). If the box is oversized, sometimes the post office have to measure it and charge a surcharge for it being oversized. I think this is just for huge boxes though, I have mailed off some big boxes and have never had an extra charge.
