I am going to guess a Bichon. I would have guessed Maltese but you said it's not a toy breed. I have a dog that is a Bichon/Maltese mix (3/4 Bichon, though) and these pictures look a lot like him when he is wet...except he is white and I see cream in this dog. Hmmm, I still guess Bichon because they do sometimes have an apricot cast to their coat.
