I hear ya, there is NO way for me to get both my couches against a wall, I have an 'open concept' townhouse and the living room only has 2 walls and one has the tv on it bc that is where the cable is, so I have a couch that sort of floats on the line where the floor changes from dining room to living room. My fletcher jumps off the back of that couch ALL the time. I have tried to stop him, change his habits... pillows on the floor (he pees on them)... NOTHING works, hes very headstrong and does it all the time. I do worry about him breaking something... like a leg... especially where I have tile floors! So he does it 20x a day and my heart stops for a second each time. I STILL redirect him to jump from the front of the couch where at least its a LOT shorter distance to the ground... but hes 2 now and he does things HIS way! HAHA
