A straight topline is a dominant trait. If your gal is showing a bad topline than she is homozygous recessive for that trait. Simply put, unless you find a male that is homozygous dominant for a good topline you have a chance of seeing the lousy topline in half of the pups that your gal throws. It's a tough decision to start over, one I'm dealing with myself to some degree. My advise is if you don't like her topline don't breed it.
