Nice job! Janet, you'd better be careful. You let the guys do that digging. I did a lot of work in our yard when we first moved in and my back is permanently damaged now .

If you can't find any dirt, you could maybe use a tractor and shave some dirt from the nearby areas, and fill it in enough to level it out. YOu'll lose some grass and maybe have to seed a little bit, but if dirt is that hard to come by, that might be an option. That hole doesn't look like it would take too much.

Now are you ready to stain your fence?(LOL ) If you don't stain it, I'll tell you what is a really easy way to protect it. Go to the hardware store and get one of the cheapest pump style insecticide sprayers (Home depot has one for $9.99). Fill it up with Thompson's water seal, and just go along and water seal the wood.
