I guess that's the drawback to Apple hardware/software. I have iTunes on all our computers but just listen to music and radio thru the computer on them and synch my iPod to the original computer I started it off with. Does any of this make sense?

Actually, yeah, it makes perfect sense. That's the problem I was having, and the suggestion for using the external hard drive makes sense. I'll just store all my music on the external drive.

Then again, Gracie2006 seems to say something else, that I can manage it without synching. I'm gonna try that first.
