OK. I fess up. I am almost 47 and have never been to a nail salon and have never had a manicure. My girlfriend and I decided to pamper ourselves and get our nails done on Friday. My natural nails are short and brittle, so I want acrylic. I want them to stay rather short. I'm tossing around the idea of a French manicure. I don't want a lot of color, stickers, etc. I work in a professional environment so I don't want anything too flashy. What are your thoughts? What would you recommend for a first timer?
