I don't know of any home remedies but Gucci has a tendency to have yeast in his ears. The vet recommended cleaning them out once a week with drops (DermaPet MalAcetic Otic) to keep it in check. I don't think the drops were expensive. They smell like vinegar so I don't know if that could be a home remedy. I would do a search online maybe.
Just a few days ago the scratching increased and he needed an ointment for the itching and inflammation.
