Have you checked to see the size of the grandparents? I use the Chihuahua puppy chart and so far it is almost exact.

The line my studs come from are fully grown at between 6-7 months. Their weight may fluxuate and they may even put on weight but they don't grow any bigger.

I also have a big stud and he grew until he was 18 months old. He weighs 11 lbs but at a year he was only about 9 lbs.

Just type in Chihuahua Puppy Weight Chart and choose one. When you see the chart, just find the line for how many weeks old your puppy is. Then go across the page in that row and find the weight of your puppy. Then scroll down in the column the puppy's weight is in and at the bottom it will tell you how much your puppy should weigh fully grown.
