As someone who has family members who suffer from depression (thankfully not suicide), I, too, understand the pain, anger and frustration/confusion it can leave the family with. Sophiedog is right, support groups and sharing your feelings can really help you to understand and cope.

Also, please watch your cousin for signs of depression, too. A young mother with so much on her shoulders before this tragedy... I can't even pretend to imagine her suffering. She will surely need your strength and love in the days ahead.

As I hear this story, it angers me all over again to think about the recent comments Tom Cruise made that have been all over the news!! He says there is no such thing as depression or chemical imbalances!! He "KNOWS". Usually I embrace that we all have different opinions, but he's the charter member on my boycott list now.

My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. I, too, am here if you need me.
