Rajay is 15 months old and we just got Jayra three weeks ago. Jayra will always go to the paper to pee, but never to poo! He seems to think if he goes into a closet or any dark place it's okay. I have started taking him outside and he usually releases himself. He is so different from Rajay, my 15 month old girl. I have taken his poo and placed it on the peewee pads and when I catch him, I will take him to the paper, but he refuses to use the paper to poo. I don't want to buy a book to potty train the male, I know that when he starts going in circles he's ready to poo. Just went into my bathroom and discovered he did his poo by the stole. I am not going to let him beat me. I hate taking them outside because of the bugs in Texas but I have decided this might be the best for him. Rajay tried to teach him were to go, but he still refuses. Everything I have read says boys and girls are no different, but I am learning the boys have their own determination and are a little bit harder to potty train than girls. Good luck! Rajay has a beautiful silky coat but hates her hair up. She will do all she can to remove it. The groomer puts a bow on her harness. However, it does not bother Jayra at all.
