I guess I've lucked up...of the puppies that have gone out my door and been placed, I have confirmation that they have all been altered, except one...and that's the one that still lives with me.
Sadly, I agree with the above poster. It seems like spay/neuter BEFORE placing a pup is the only way to be certain that the dog will truly be only a pet. Peoples word...and even contracts, apparently...don't seem to be worth too much these days.
