We paid $ 155.00 for Bogus's neutering....this included IV sedation and labs..Ours (Vet) didn't give extra oral pain meds. to take home..he gave him an injection as I picked him up that lasted through the night and by the next morning, he acted like nothing ever happened to him... I think it depends on where you live..rural areas aren't quite as expensive as larger cities/suburban areas...and we are definately in a rural area
