Default New to site...just adopted Molly 10yrs

Hello Everybody,

My husband and I just adopted a 10yr old Yorkie named Molly. We also have two Cairn terriers, Grace 4yrs and Lily 3yrs. Molly arrived on Friday night and so far everything is working out great. The girls all seem to like each other. Lily and Grace are pretty laid back girls and neither are dominate dogs. They pretty much go with the flow.

Molly is a real sweetheart. We plan to take her to the vet on Tuesday but I am hoping to get some advice in the meantime. She seems to have a few health issues, bad breath and her hips seem to be stiff. The one that is worrying me the most is she urinates ALOT and we just found blood in her urine. It takes her along time to get out the urine. She does not seem to be in any pain. I guess I could wait to hear what the vet says but I am very worried. We are giving her 1/2 a baby aspirin for her hips (i did call the vet and that is what they suggested). Any ideas as to what this can be causing this? Any suggestions?

We love this little girl already with all our hearts. No matter what she is ours forever. When we woke up this am (she was in bed with us) I heard her stirring around so I whispered "molly is that you?" she looked at me for about 5 seconds then took a running leap on my face and just kissing me! That sealed the deal for sure!

I would appreciate any advice. Thanks, Lynn
