BUT, Maureen does not have that kind of help, these places/people need to be watched 24/7, nobody but a detective of some kind can offer that. The police department should have offered her a detective from the department...which would not cost her anything...but they have not, so we need to hire our own!!!
THIS IS WHY WE NEED GIFTS FOR ZEKE!!! Again Maureen can not do this alone, she needs our help.
I will pray now... |

Kathy, as always, you are right on all points. It is an absolute disgrace, that because of the inefficiency of the Modesto PD, Maureen is being forced to fund her own investigation.
I've just been catching up on the posts since yesterday and I see lots of suggestions, and frustration. Unfortunately, the bottom line is we have to stay inside the limits of the law, no matter how desperate we are to bring Zeke home.
Maureen, hope you are feeling better today today Hon. And don't ever worry about Zeke forgetting you. When I left South Africa, I had an adorable Matlese name Tasha. I went back once a year to visit my family, and each time when I walked through the front door after arriving, Tasha would go totally beserk. Twelve months would have passed, and this little dog never forgot me. During one time period, I was unable to visit for over 2 years, and still that little girl remembered me. She was only 7 years old when I immigrated, and lived for 18 years (would you believe it!) That dog never ever failed to remember me, would follow me around like a little white shadow, every day that I spent there. So don't ever concern yourself about your Zeke forgetting you.
Hugs to you all for the day,
Lauren
