Oliver, my shih poo, gets car sick after about 30 minutes. He sits in an elevated car seat and tries to get out of it to throw up.(bless his heart) It's happened twice when I tried to take him to work. Both times were right when I pulled in my parking space. He does fine with short trips though. I've never given him meds, I just avoid long trips at all costs. Good luck
