I'm so glad you started this thread. Otis does it too, even to me!! People ask me if he was a rescue and maybe abused. I laugh and say "This dog has never even had his little bottom swatted, let alone be abused". I wonder why they do this? Now if he wants something from me, he'll climb up my leg, but if I reach out for him, he backs up.
