I am glad that Duke's offspring are better now and everything is working out for you.  This is why it is very important to have dogs tested before breeding them, not just when they seem to be having a problem.  If you'd known ahead of time that Duke had this problem, then you would have known he shouldn't be bred at all for this reason alone.
In any case, it is good that you are giving the pups a good home and doing what is neccessary to ensure them the healthiest lives possible.  I am sure they will all be spoiled in no time.
