Okay...I am home for the rest of the day. I've read through this entire thread, finally made it to the end.

I think all we have to do is wait until galatea is able to come back on...talk to Maureen...get all the facts straight. Let her deal with the Modesto Police Department, I just know she will be able to get through to them...hopefully they will in turn put their own detective/investigator on this ASAP.
If that falls through...then we get the PI on August 1st, I know it seems like an eternity...but...it may be our best chance. Unless we are able to round up enough people here to stake out these houses...with cameras/video recorders and follow this woman until she brings out a dog...so that Maureen can either ID the dog...or not.
Do we know if this is rental property or is the woman a home owner. If it is rental property can we find the owner and ask if pets are allowed??? If not, they have a right to search their own property don't they???
Still praying for that happy ending, but we STILL NEED GIFTS FOR ZEKE!!!
