You've undertaken a great responsibility, so read and educate yourself on the whole process. Be prepared to give up a minimum of 8 weeks of your life. Once her due date is near, she will not be able to be left alone. Once the puppies are born, she and they will have to be monitored around the clock. Making sure they are nursing well and mom eating well. Puppies gaining properly. Tails docked, dew claws removed, vet checks and vaccinations given. Socializing, insuring the ears are up, potty training....If you aren't keeping them, finding good homes for them. Contracts to be drawn up, etc.
