I would vote for the DayCare also. We got our 2 new babies a few months ago. Rupert was a year old and had only been around the other Yorkies at the Breeders'. He was very timid around other dogs; often becoming frantic at the sight of a dog in the distance, and then really hard to calm down afterwards! We started taking him to a good DayCare for half days. It has helped tremendously. He is still very wary of other dogs, but no longer trys to jump out of his harness when he sees one. But definitely check it out before you take her. I asked for a tour and then just watched the dogs for awhile. It was also recommended by the place where we go for our Obedience training. While I was looking for a daycare, I came across one that was small, dirty and not very well supervised, even though it looked nice on the outside and in the 'Public' areas. Beware! |
