What is the father's size?
Also - make sure you get his pedigree information so you can register the liter. A friend of mine was recently shocked to discover the stud she paid to breed her female to was NOT AKC registered after all. She was STUNNED and now horrified.....she had actually sold a male puppy to this woman a year ago and expected THAT puppy to be the dog. When they got to the vets it was a different dog and the lady just said "Oh this dog has had better success" or something like that. Now the registry doesn't line up and it's really bad.
Anyway - not trying to ramble - just venting.
I'm sure your sweetheart will be fine. Call the vet soon to find out about any adjustments in diet, etc. Keep us posted!!
