I'm with you on that! Some of these weddings cost lots and lots of money, too much in my opinion. A friends daughter got married about 2-3 years ago and spent over $40,000! The grooms parents flipped most of the bill, but now they are getting a divorce
So what was the point? It's a shame but when I got married 31 years ago, we got married in city hall and my parents gave us $1000.00 and my husbands parents bought us a tv. That money put a down payment on a house for us and we're still together
