Jasmine is a "let me jump on you and we'll play" type of Yorkie. The BEST thing we could have done was to adopt a beagle puppy around the same time.
(We weren't PLANNING to adopt a beagle. But someone called us knowing we had our beagle Pixie stolen last year and said "Hey this guy has to go to a nursing home and he has a 20 week old beagle puppy, microchipped and everything. If you want her I can bring her over tonight or he's taking her to the pound tomorrow becuase he broke his hip and has to move". Um yeah - we'll take her! Never mind that we just put a deposit down on a Yorkie puppy. *wry grin*)
I worried at first that our beagle (Tiki) would be too rough with the younger yorkie puppy but no - Jasmine has her slightly intimidated by sheer exuberance. *laughing*
