 How to judge mature weight of a puppy
My yorkie, Jasmine, is a little larger than some of the other puppies I saw available. It's one of the reasons I chose her although I understand the AKC limits conformation entries at 7 pounds. Her mother was almost 8 lbs and her father only 4 lbs. Is there a formula or chart or something that I can use to estimate what her mature weight will be?
Like if she weighs X amount now at nearly 12 months she'll weight X when she's full grown?
Just wondering. My main focus/desire is to do agility trials but if I CAN do conformation with my local club I probably will.
