Cry A Bit Scared For My Holly

I had been concerned about Holly because I felt she had been in heat for too long. She has been bleeding for 5 weeks now. I feared that she had an infection on some sort and I admit it, I panicked. I called the vet and they scheduled me first thing this morning. Well it turns out that Holly will continue to bleed because her Ovum (?) is stuck. Something like a Cystic Ovary or something. I have the name but I left the paper in my car and the hubby's got it. Well she needs to be spayed ASAP. She's going in Tuesday. I am a little nervous. I'm not really the type to get over the top freaked out, but I have to admit that it makes me a little sick to my stomach. Although I planned to spay her anyways, this just caught me off guard. I didn't expect it this soon. What should I expect?
