After this I'm seriously considering getting the pups spayed/neutered before they leave home. It seems to be the only way that we can truly protect our pups. My neighbor signed a spa/ neuter contract and at 13 monthes he still hasn't gotten her fixed. I'm thinking about taking her up to Dr. Banks myself cause he just doesn't seem to see the necessity of getting it done in a timely manner. It's incredible how many people out there just don't take breeding seriously and it's only going to get worse as our breed increases in popularity.
I agree and that is pretty much the drill for me, spay/neuter is done first, then they can go to a home. In the last couple of years, I only have a few that were less than six months old under spay/neuter contract and the surgery was done as promised.
