What a great site! I have a slight problem with my yorkie and I need some expert advice on how to handle this. Our yorkie is 11 months old and semi-housetrained. What I mean is this: We taught her to go in a puppy litterbox and she does but she also will go on the carpet whenever she deems the litterbox dirty. She would also pee right outside of the litterbox onto the floor but when she poops, it is usually in the litterbox. Now, it seems, she pees onto the carpet every other day.

If we take her outside, she always goes with no problem. We are thinking about taking her out some more since we are now home more often but we are also thinking about ridding ourselves of the litterbox because it is too much trouble and dirty.

What is the best way to move our training method from the litterbox to the outside without confusing our yorkie?
