I may be biased here, but I say GO FOR IT!!! I have a Maltese and added a Yorkie girl and a Biewer boy!!!. They all get along, though it took the Maltese (11.5 yrs old) a bit of time to get used to my Yorkie girl, AprilLove, (and I think that was a female thing). I can give you my experience only but my Nappy (Biewer) has the Yorkie personality without the yorkie "'tude". He is gentle, loving, extremely social and happy to meet everyone and anyone. He loves to play. I have to add that I love the Yorkie"tude" as well in AprilLove. They compliment each other. I can say that he (11 months) and AprilLove (18 months) became instantly bonded when he came home with me. They are inseparable. They get along great, love to play. When one leaves the room, the other has to follow it is sooo cute. I think the weight of Biewers varies like the weight and size of Yorkies. My boy is 4 1/2 lbs, and has been that since he was 7 months. I feel soooo blessed to have learned about this breed and been fortunate enough to find one to love. I could go on and on, but if you want to see how they get along, you can check out some of the videos in my siggy. In the future I do plan to add another Yorkie (boy) and another Biewer (girl). Can you tell I am addicted???? | LOL I totally agree about the "tude" my 4# little biewer guy wouldn't know what that was but my 3# Yorkie girl REALLY does. Little Man is to sweet to ever offend a lady so Bella always gets her way.
