Jake does something similar. He will be playing and then all of a sudden he will just stop and look at nothing. He will stare at a certain area for a minute or two. If I ask him what he's looking at, he just keeps looking back and forth from me to the same area. There's nothing there, but it's like he sees something that I don't. Or, maybe he hears something and he's just listening and it just looks like he's looking at a certain area. Eventually, he will go back to what he was doing. I don't know what it is, but my daughter and husband have seen him do it too. It's kinda weird, but he doesn't seem worried or scared, so I don't worry about it.
