Happy 4TH to everyone here too. My dear friend and co-worker who was married just under 3 years ago will be taking her husband to the Armory today where he will be shipping out for Afghanistan for the next 18 months. He had left the day after their wedding and spent a year in Iraq where he was wounded. Upon getting wind of possibly being sent to Iraq again, he opted to volunteer for the Afghan mission instead believing this the safer option. Just this past week have they realized how dangerous this location will actually be for him. It is right near where the helicopter went down and the men disappeared.
Please pray for his safety, her strength and an end to all this madness over there with terrorism once and for all.
