The very best paint I have found happens to be really good priced. I use the American Tradition from Lowes. There's just something about it...it rolls on easily and gets into all the paint texture on the walls, unlike Behr that is so thick, it rolls over the grooves and leaves lots of white specks.
I think the Lowes' paint is now $20 a gallon. It used to be $18, but with how much everything in the world has gone up, it is still a pretty good price. STay away from Glidden. It is so thin, you will be using more coats and it costs more in the end. |
American Tradition is a great paint! We are in a contest thru Valspar(makers of American Tradition) and our paint dept is in 1st place in the country for selling the most Am. Trad. paint. We have less than 3 weeks to go and if we stay in 1st place, each of us (there are 5) will get a 23 inch flat screen tv and 2 of us (drawing) will also get a 42" plasma ($1550.00) screen tv. 2nd place is the top IPOD. Even tho I just got promoted to SOS/Credit Coordinator for our store, I still qualify for the contest. I have 1 more week in paint. SOOOOO excited!!
